    You have options to set up your own schedule during or after hrs. You can make yourselves available so you could be seen by patients looking for a Physician or you can make yourselves only available to your patients.
  • What is the age range of the patients I will perform consults for?
    There is no age limit for the patients, it is based on your specialties.
  • How to create my UrgiDoctor profile?
    You can visit to create your profile or download the app from the app store.
  • Will I be considered a full-time employee if I join UrgiDoctor?
    No. Urgidoctor does not employ anyone. It is a platform that connects Physicians with Patients.
  • Does UrgiDoctor have set schedules (minimum time a doctor should spend on the platform)?
    Time slots are for 20, 40, and 60 mins.
  • Can I record my patient’s visit?
    Yes, you can document the visit. You also have options to make templates. With UrgiDoctor, you can download your patient visits and put them in the chart.
  • What is the minimum qualification to join UrgiDoctor?
    The minimum qualification to join UrgiDoctor are MD,DO, PA and NP.
  • How long would be a typical visit?
    It totally depends on you. Time slots in appointment sections are for 20,40 and 60 mins.
  • How can I send prescriptions to my patients?
    You can send electronic prescriptions straight to your patient’s local pharmacy.
  • Can we schedule follow-up appointments?
    You can ask the patient to make the follow-up appointment.
  • How do I bill and collect my payment?
    After the visit and once you have approved the payment, the patient credit card will be charged and the money will be deposited in your account. You can see the amounts in the earning report.
  • How will I get visits?
    You register on the app and set your availability.
  • How can telemedicine help increase my patients in my clinic?
    You can use this during your scheduled hours, or you can make yourselves available for some time after hrs. You can also use it if you are not in the office and want to see your patients.
  • What is the minimum and maximum that I can charge for the patients?
    There is no limit. It is all based on you.
  • What are the charges will I receive for no-shows and cancellations by the patients?
    You can set your own price and reduce the cost of no-shows and cancellations.
  • How much time would it take to set up my account?
    First time to onboard, it will take up to 15 mins
  • How much I can charge to the patients?
    Fees are set by you. There is no limit.
  • What is the nudge feature?
    This is a specialized feature through which you can reach out to your chosen Physician( My Physician) even if they are not visible/online on the platform.
  • Is there a time limit on video visits?
    There is no time limit on the video.
  • Can UrgiDoctor handle emergency situations?
    No, in case of emergencies, it is recommended to call 911 and go to the nearest hospital.
  • Does the doctor review my medical history before a visit?
    Yes, he/ she has the option to check the medical. It is recommended to update your medical history before your visit.
  • How much does it cost?
    The cost will be determined by the sort of service you need and the design of your health plan. The price for the service will be listed with the Physician's profile.
  • Who are the UrgiDoctor Providers?
    Our care is provided by board-certified physicians who are licensed to practice in the US. Our global network of top medical professionals can provide guidance on different medical conditions.
  • Does UrgiDoctor accept my health insurance?
    Currently, we don’t provide cover for health insurance. You can use UrgiDoctor for generic medicines and connect with your own physician.
  • Can I get a prescription?
    Prescriptions will be sent electronically to the Pharmacy of your choice. You will get notified on our UrgiDoctor App once the prescription is sent
  • Does UrgiDoctor accept Medicare and Medicaid?
    No. This platform is only a fee for service.
  • What will happen after I schedule a visit?
    The visit request goes to the Physician and he can accept or deny your request. If he accepts your request, then, your appointment will show up in the upcoming appointment section. 30 mins and 10 mins before the appointment, you will get a calendar reminder. Once it is time for the appointment, you will initiate the call (go to the waiting room) and the Physician will join you. During the visit, you can discuss your problems, show pictures, and share documents. After assessment, if there is any need for a prescription, the Physician will send the medications to the Pharmacy of your choosing. You can also request different Pharmacy at the time of the visit Once medications are sent, you will get the confirmation on your app. Once notes are all done, you will have access to the details of your visit. You can also download and print your visit summary.
  • What are my payment options?
    You need to put your credit card as a default payment method.
  • What should I do if I need to cancel a scheduled visit?
    You can cancel your visit up to 30 mins before the scheduled appointment. After that, you might be charged a “No show” fee of 25 dollars and that will be deducted from your credit card.
  • How to set up my account?
    Visit or download the UrgiDoctor mobile app to get started.
  • How does UrgiDoctor protect my Privacy?
    UrgiDoctor follows all rules and regulations which include HIPPA(Health Insurance Portability and Accountability). We are dedicated to safeguarding the privacy of all customers who use our services.
  • Can my family use UrgiDoctor?
    You can add up to 4 members for whom you have the medical attorney. Children under the age of 18 who live with you or live elsewhere are considered dependents. You can also include your parents or grandparents if you have the Health Power of Attorney(HPA) for them.
  • How long will it take for the doctor to start my video visit?
    As soon as he is done reviewing your chart, your video visit will be started.
  • Will I talk with a real doctor?
    Yes. With your own Primary Care Physician (if he/she is on the platform) or any available Physician. You can choose Physicians based upon specialties, degree, fees, and even the language spoken.
